From basic to advanced in 12 weeks!
Web Design and Development with Raymond Dean
Beginning Monday, June 2
From the basics of HTML through programming and multimedia content, this Advanced eCourse will equip you with the skills you need to develop and maintain an effective library or other website. As you apply your new skills, your learning will pay dividends.
Prior experience with markup or programming languages is not required. The course will break the complexity of web development down into accessible parts, taking you from basic background, an introduction to HTML and web standards, the concept of modular web design, to responsive design and multimedia.
Raymond Dean, a lecturer for San José State University’s School of Library and Information Science and an experienced web developer, will guide the asynchronous eCourse, interacting with participants through emails and discussion boards as you work at your own pace and on your own schedule, reading, listening to, or viewing online content and completing weekly assignments or activities.
Participants who complete this Advanced eCourse will receive an SJSU/ALA Publishing Advanced Certificate of Completion.
