This workshop will present an overview of form-based Readers’ Advisory—what it is, its benefits, its key elements, and considerations for librarians who wish to implement it. You’ll learn how to implement form-based RA from start (getting administrative and staff buy-in) to finish (building forms and training staff members).

Workshop topics include:
• The current state of Readers’ Advisory services and what form-based RA is
• Making the case to your library leaders
• Crafting forms, and how to assemble and train your form-based RA team
