Enlightened Hunters and Gatherers: Teaching Information Literacy Skills for Life
In today’s information-driven world, the need to hunt for, gather, evaluate, and use information effectively is not limited to a single aspect or stage of one’s life. In fact, information literacy skills are crucial for a lifetime of learning, and the progression of technology and its place in our lives makes these skills even more essential.
Please join us for the 3rd Annual Connecticut Information Literary Conference to be held at Capital Community College in Hartford, CT on June 7, 2013 for a gathering of ideas focused on teaching information literacy skills for life. Although aimed primarily at librarians and faculty members at Connecticut institutions of higher learning, all interested stakeholders are welcome to attend.
