ASCLA–the Association of Specialized and Cooperative Library Agencies–invites you to a webinar that will help you improve library services to your Latino communities.
“Creating a Latino Friendly Library” will introduce practical and simple techniques that libraries of all sizes can use to begin the process of making Latinos feel welcome and comfortable in the library. Participants will learn how to work with and challenge the language and cultural barriers that keep Latinos from using the library. This session will be led by multicultural consultant, subject matter expert and ASCLA member Yolanda J. Cuesta.
The webinar will be held Wednesday, April 10, from 2:00 – 3:30pm Central Time.
Registration starts at $40 for ASCLA members. Group rates are available! Get your whole team involved in Latino community engagement–register for a single login group for $99.
