Program Description
Free screen-casting software can help you create short and useful videos, with audio, that illustrate exactly what you want patrons to know. This webinar will provide you with information and hands-on opportunities to get started with two free screen-casting software, Jing and Screencast-O-Matic. Melanee Vicedo will talk about how she uses videos in emails and other reference conversations and will discuss best practices. The features and details of each screen-casting software will also be shared and discussed. Participants will then have the opportunity to download and try out the software and make their own videos. Participants will be asked to share their videos and their experiences with the software so that we can all learn from one another.

Presented by CLA’s Academic Interest Group.

Presented using Adobe Connect in partnership with Infopeople.
