“Researching the Gold Book: The Indian Health Service 50th Anniversary History Project”

A presentation by the co-authors of the anniversary book, Caring & Curing: A History of the Indian Health Service, published by the PHS Commissioned Officers Foundation for the Advancement of Public Health. This lecture will recognize November as Native American Heritage Month and draw attention to several NLM collections which the speakers used for their research and writing on the Indian Health Service.
